MVP enhances Web site security
Your privacy is important to MVP. To ensure the security of Protected Health Information (PHI), MVP has enhanced
the security on our Web site.
New Login Procedure
One of the ways that we are enhancing Web site security is by improving our Login procedure.
The following changes have been made when logging onto the Employer section of the web site:
- Effective 4/14/2003 you will need to create a new password. The password must be 8 characters in length
and have a combination of letters and numbers.
- You will be prompted to change your password every 40 days.
- You will be allowed 3 attempts to login. After the 3rd attempt you will be prompted to email our Employer
Customer Service Department or contact your MVP Marketing Representative to reactivate your password.
- A 30-minute timeout period will end your user session if there is no activity within that time. You will then
be prompted to login again.
