Department: Customer Care Center

Position Summary:
This position will provide leadership to a call group (call center team) that will have customer contact with employer groups, members, prospective members, and/or Providers. Provide customer service support to Preferred Care members/Providers as necessary. Work collaboratively with Manager, Director and other Team and Service Leaders to promote and maintain a uniform, unified customer service philosophy in serving all Preferred Care members/Providers.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Business/Management/Related Field or two additional years of equivalent work experience. Three years high volume call center experience required, experience in a medical setting desired. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and understanding and responding to customer needs. Ability to effectively assess, select, motivate, foster teamwork, empower, and provide direction to a diverse group of employees.
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to communicate effectively one-to-one, in small groups and in public, while demonstrating fluency, clarity, organization of thought and the ability to appropriately adjust communications for specific audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills, to enable individual to compose and format business correspondence for internal and external customers. Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential member information.
  • Basic Word for Windows and Excel skills (or comparable program) to enable individual to create varied documents and spreadsheets. AMISYS and Service Matrix among others.
