MVP Health Care Employees Raise $30,000 For Hurricane Katrina Relief

September 30, 2005 - The 1,000 plus employees of MVP Health Care have raised $30,000 to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina during a two-week fund drive which included bake sales, raffles, cash donations and an MVP corporate matching contribution.
All of the funds collected have been donated to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
"Nothing makes me prouder to lead this company than the incredible generosity our coworkers demonstrate time and again," said MVP President and CEO David Oliker. "MVP coworkers really came through in support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina," he said.
Earlier this year,MVP employees raised $18,000 for the American Red Cross' Tsunami relief effort.
