In this presentation, we will discuss what cancer is, the impact of breast cancer in NYS, and how early detection with regularly scheduled mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when treatment may be more effective. You will learn about what influences an individual’s risk for breast cancer and actions you can take to decrease your risk. You will also learn about when you should get screened, based on your family history and personal health history.
