MVP will be at the event, Inspiring Beauty. This is the Mayor’s free educational and networking program for young women. This event serves an opportunity for young women ages 14 to 22 to come and network with their peers, while interacting with influential women (“Role Models”) from across the community, in a formal, but fun and relaxed atmosphere. The “Inspiring Beauty” event is successful largely because of the continued support received from the local chapters of international sororities, community agencies, residents and various schools and colleges in our area. The young women in attendance also have the opportunity to interact MVP employees, local colleges and representatives from the City of Rochester. Previous topics covered at “Inspiring Beauty” included “Social Media Manners”, “Tips on Dressing for an Interview” and more.

In order to be selected to be a part of this formal event, young women must submit a 200-word essay and tell the Mayor about themselves. MVP will be present with Retail outreach and enhance the knowledge of these young women on health insurance, and women in the work place.
