During this two-hour educational woods walk, see what type of mushrooms are growing and what to look for. Participants will learn the edible or medical value mushrooms have, historic uses of fungi, and the story they tell about the forest. Characteristics of fungi will be discussed as well as guidance on how to identify them.
Intensity Level: Moderate: participants must wear sturdy shoes/boots and be prepared to walk on uneven terrain in summer outdoor conditions.
