MVP Tai Chi for Heath and Healing is a course for beginners designed for those who have arthritic issues of joint stiffness, pain and poor muscle strength, as well as coordination and balance concerns. Incorporating Tai Chi principles and modern scientific studies into Tai Chi movements has been shown to improve muscle strength, flexibility and coordination. Performing these movements slowly, smoothly and consistently will aid in preventing falls. This program promotes techniques to concentrate on mind/body connections which has been shown to improve overall health and promote healing.
