Laurie Metheny is our Chief Customer Experience Officer, a role that is fitting for someone who has spent literally their entire career in health care. Laurie has over 30 years of experience and a keen sense of duty to the members, patients, and providers who are faced with understanding and navigating an increasingly complex environment. Like all of us, Laurie sees our members as people, not as numbers. She is inspired by the power of a health plan to make a real difference when people need it most along their own personal journey—whether young and healthy, starting a family, coping with aging parents, or managing a chronic health issue. Her mission at MVP is to reinforce our member-centric culture and make every decision with an “outside looking in” perspective so that our customers’ best interest remains at the heart of everything we do.
