Alan Goldberg Named MVP Health Care Board Chair

SCHENECTADY, NY, January 19, 2018 — Alan Goldberg, retired president and CEO of First Albany Companies, has been named chair of the board of directors of MVP Health Care. He previously served as vice chair of the MVP board and has been a director since 2006. He succeeds Karen Johnson.

Goldberg has served on the board of directors of several publicly traded companies, including First Albany Companies, MTI Inc., SatCom Technology Corporation and Beacon Power. In addition, he currently is chair of the board of the Watervliet Arsenal Partnership and the Palace Theater. He is also a trustee of the Howard & Bush Foundation.

Previously, Goldberg served as board chair of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce (now the Capital Region Chamber) and the Center for Economic Growth.
