SCHENECTADY, NY, April 26, 2018 — MVP Health Care will be recognized with a Neighbor to Neighbor award presented by the City Mission of Schenectady as it “celebrates the victories of living in a community where partners are making a difference by serving others.”
According to the City Mission, “MVP Health Care was an obvious choice for the award as they are not only neighbors in the physical sense, but in many ways exemplify what it means to be a good neighbor. Through our partnership with the Weekend Backpack Program, Employer Resource Network, Downtown Ambassadors, Empower Health and volunteer service, MVP’s service and commitment to the community are helping individuals lead healthier and more stable lives.”
MVP will be recognized at each of the City Mission’s three evening banquets to be held on April 29 and 30 and May 1 at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. The Neighbor to Neighbor celebration is held over three days to give City Mission guests options to attend, while maintaining a more intimate setting than if everyone attended the same evening. Nearly 1,100 people are registered to attend this year.
