MVP Health Care Hosts Open House for Rochester-Area Veterans

ROCHESTER, NY, October 25, 2016―Veterans and active military in the greater Rochester area are invited to attend a
special Veterans Open House hosted by MVP Health Care on Wednesday, October 26 from 12:30 –
2:30 pm.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about VA benefits (including how to register for benefits), learn how MVP health coverage and VA benefits work together, find out about veterans resource programs, attend a fitness demo and wellness presentation, and visit the new Self-Care Zone for interactive health screenings.

Community partners, including A Red Hot Dish / Chef Ellen Adams, Compeer CORPS, Honor Fight Rochester, Healthways SilverSneakers Fitness, Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Veterans Administration, Veterans History Project, Veterans Outreach Center, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20, and U.S. Institute for Veterans Initiatives, will be on site and be available to provide additional information and giveaways.

The MVP Health Care Veterans Open House is free and open to the public and will take place at the MVP Health Care Wellness Center at 220 Alexander Street in Rochester. Free parking is available on the second floor of the parking garage. Attendees are asked to bring in their parking pass to be validated.
