MVP Health Care Joins with St. John’s to present Community Supported Agriculture Fair

ROCHESTER, NY, February 26, 2016―MVP Health Care and St. John’s will hold a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair on Saturday, March 5 from 10 am to 2 p.m. Community members are welcome to participate and learn how to make an investment in a local farm and receive fresh produce weekly all season long through the CSA. The CSA Fair will be held at Brickstone by St. John’s, located at 1325 Elmwood Ave.

During the CSA Fair, individuals and families can meet local farmers, compare share options and sign up for a 2016 farm share. Registration is not required and there is no fee to attend. The fair also kicks off the Seasonal Flavors Series, sponsored by MVP Health Care and St. John’s, which offers cooking demonstrations and tastings using local and seasonal produce. The series begins in May and will feature MVP Health Care’s community health educator and chefs from St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone communities. Each participant will receive a booklet including recipes and a seasonal produce guide.
