Each year, Medicare patients receive Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys that focus on their overall health care experiences throughout the year.
The objective of these surveys is to gauge the level of satisfaction a patient has with the health care services they receive. Individuals are asked to comment on interactions they have on topics such as medications, tests, treatments, and any emotional and physical challenges they may be experiencing. These discussions play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience, improving health outcomes, increasing retention rates, and influencing Star Quality Ratings and CMS payments to Providers.
MVP values the feedback we receive from our Members. We encourage them to complete the survey and ask you to do the same.
We ask that you continue to discuss the topics listed above with your patients on an ongoing basis to be sure that they feel engaged with their care.
