MVP Coverage Options
There are a few low-cost health plans for adults and children in New York State.
Medicaid
Medicaid is $0 for individuals who qualify based on income, family size, citizenship, and immigration status. Medicaid is available to eligible adults and children.
The Essential Plan
The Essential Plan is a low-cost health plan for adults 19 years of age or older who do not qualify for Medicaid.

Child Health Plus (CHPlus) provides a low-cost coverage option for children 18 years of age or younger who do not qualify for Medicaid.
