Required Annual Trainings and Compliance Attestations

Various regulatory agencies require Providers participating in the MVP network to complete certain trainings and attestations annually. Please review the chart below to determine which are required for your practice, based on  state, CMS, or NCQA requirements.

Exclusionary Database Monitoring Attestation NYS Government Programs MVP must confirm our Medicaid Provider Network has the appropriate policies and procedures in place regarding exclusionary databases, stating that all Participating Provider employees and staff participate in training. Dual Special Needs Program (D-SNP) MVP Medicare and NYS Government Programs MVP offers a D-SNP plan for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid in the certain regions. CMS requires Providers who care for patients in D-SNP plans to complete training. Providers are required to verify they have completed at least one of the trainings. View Attestation
Voluntary Foster Care Agency (VFCA) Training All Plans NYS requires Providers to take training related to VFCA. The training is self-directed.

OnTrackNY offers treatment for adolescents and young adults experiencing psychotic symptoms—such as hallucinations, unusual thoughts, or disorganized thinking—for more than a week but less than two years.

Project TEACH supports New York primary care providers in treating mild-to-moderate mental health issues—such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD—in patients up to age 22. It is funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
