Medicaid is also available to people of any age who are blind or disabled. Eligibility is based on income, family size, citizenship, and immigration status. Undocumented noncitizens age 65 and over may now qualify for Medicaid Managed Care.
For those who don't qualify, MVP offers other low-cost health insurance options. These options include Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans, and more.
Pharmacy coverage through NYRx
Beginning April 1, 2023, all Medicaid members enrolled in MVP Medicaid Managed Care will receive their prescription drugs through NYRx, the Medicaid Pharmacy Program.
