Delivered in partnership with Emergency Medical Instruction and Consulting (EMIC). This course provides first-time parents, family caregivers, babysitters, and childcare providers with essential first aid and safety skills to handle infant and child emergencies. What You Will Learn • Infant and pediatric first aid, including breathing issues, fevers, and dehydration • CPR and choking response for infants • Safe sleep practices and SIDS prevention • Water and car seat safety • Emergency preparedness and first aid kit essentials Who Should Take This Course • New and expecting parents • Grandparents and family caregivers • Babysitters and nannies • Daycare providers
