Routine check-ups and screenings—called preventive care—help keep you healthy. By not waiting until you are sick to see the doctor, preventive care services can help find health problems early, when they are most treatable. Preventive care services include physical exams, immunizations, screenings and tests, health education, and proper drug or medication use. As part of your MVP health plan, these services may be available at no cost, based on recommended age and sex guidelines.
By taking the time to work on your personal health now, you may prevent health problems from occurring in the future.
