Meet MVP’s Prior Authorization Check – Virtual Agent

MVP is pleased to announce the launch of the Prior Authorization Check – Virtual Agent, a customized self-service solution allowing Providers to inquire about single or multiple prior authorization requests using a conversational voice interface instead of standard touch-tone selections. This feature is anticipated to significantly decrease Provider’s wait times and improve overall satisfaction.

The prior authorization check self-service tool allows users to determine whether medical or hospital prior authorization is required by reviewing criteria such as provider details, Member information, procedure code, and benefits.

To begin, please contact the MVP Customer Care Center for Provider Services at 1-800-684-9286. When prompted, select option Five to access our new prior authorization check self-service tool.
