Tips for help your Medicare patients save time and money while staying healthy

The MVP Medicare Part D formulary consists of many medications that are taken regularly which may be obtained from local retail pharmacies or the CVS Caremark® (CVS) Mail Service Pharmacy for up to a three-month supply.

Please consider updating your patient’sprescriptions to a three-month supply to send to your patient’s retail pharmacy or the CVS Mail Service Pharmacy for their next refill. Switching to a three-month supply of medication will save trips to the pharmacy, is often more cost effective, and encourages better adherence by ensuring a consistent supply of medication.

Using the CVS Mail Service will save your patients money and have medications delivered directly to their door. They may also receive the benefit of getting a three-month supply for the cost of two co-pays.
