MVP reminds Participating Providers, Provider Groups, and Solo Practitioners to review and complete applicable annual training and attestation requirements. These requirements help support compliance with state, federal, CMS, and NCQA standards and reinforce MVP’s shared commitment to serving Members with high-quality, culturally responsive care.

Required Training and Attestations

Providers should review which requirements apply to their practice and complete the appropriate training and/or attestation, including:

  • Cultural Competency Training for Groups: Required annually for applicable Providers at the group level and sole practitioners. This training supports health equity and culturally competent care for Members
  • Exclusionary Database Monitoring Attestation: Required for applicable Medicaid Providers to confirm appropriate policies and procedures are in place for exclusionary database monitoring and related staff training
  • Dual Special Needs Program (D-SNP) Training and Attestation: Required for applicable Providers who participate in MVP Medicare Advantage and Medicaid networks, or who provide Medicaid-only services, in regions where MVP offers D-SNP plans

Other training requirements: Additional training may apply based on product participation, state requirements, or the services your organization provides.

What Providers Need to Do

  1. Review the training and attestation requirements that apply to your practice.
  2. Share the applicable training information with employees, staff, and subcontractors responsible for compliance or Member care.
  3. Complete the required training and submit the corresponding attestation by the applicable deadline.
  4. Maintain documentation of completion for your records, as MVP may be required to confirm compliance with regulatory agencies.

Completing required trainings and attestations helps ensure Providers remain in good standing and supports MVP’s ongoing regulatory obligations. If you have questions about which requirements apply to your practice, please contact your MVP Professional Relations Representative or Contract Manager.
